Why Should You Be Checking Your Benefit Statements (EOB's)

Please be sure to check your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements from
Independence Blue Cross (IBC). The Fund Office has been notified by numerous members that they have mistakenly incurred a 20% copay for diagnostic services such as x-rays and lab work performed in a hospital setting. IBC has assured the Fund that the problem is being corrected and all claims will be adjusted to pay at 100% of the contracted rate for in-network providers.
